TL;DR: After your sync is activated, you can import events that already exist in your Outlook calendar into your monday board. Import Past Events , Sync Future Events , or both — each has its own checkbox.
Each imported event counts as one action toward your plan quota — start small and scale up.
Before you start
Your sync must be activated — import is not available during the setup wizard
You'll find this option in the Import Existing Events tab in the admin panel
How it works
Add a caption...
Open the Import Existing Events tab in the admin panel
Enable Import Past Events , Sync Future Events , or both — each has its own checkbox
Set a time window for each (e.g., 6 months) — past looks back, future looks ahead
Click Estimate Event Count to see how many events will be imported and how many actions it will cost
If you have enough actions, click Start Import — the app creates a new item on your board for each event, linked automatically via the Integration Column

Actions and quota
Every imported event counts as one action. Before importing, use the Estimate Event Count button to see exactly how many actions it will cost. If your plan doesn't have enough actions, the app will warn you and the Start Import button stays disabled — you'll need to reduce the time window or upgrade your plan.
Example
Actions Used
Import last 30 days, 15 events
15 actions
Import last 3 months, 120 events
120 actions
Import last year, 500+ events
500+ actions
Common gotchas
Imported events are linked — future changes on either side will sync according to your settings
You can run import multiple times — already-imported events won't be duplicated
There's no undo for a bulk import — items need to be deleted manually
Past events that have already occurred are imported too — useful for reporting, but be mindful of quota
Always use Estimate Event Count before importing to avoid surprises
