When thinking about which automation to use, you should tailor that to your board structure, use case & workflow. There are a few categories of automations and here's a good way to think about it ->
Assignment Type – Some automations assign events to the person already selected in the People column, while others assign events dynamically to a team (using existing teams in your account) using predefined logic, such as workload or availability.
Items or Subitems – Decide whether the automation should apply to items or subitems in your board.
Trigger Event – Define what should trigger the automation, such as a status change, date update, or other column modification.
