Auto-link items between boards based on a matching value (creation, status, column change, or move)
Auto-link items between two boards when something happens — item created, status changed, column changed, or item moved to this board. Matching can use equals, contains, starts with, or any logic combination.
Common use cases:
New deal in CRM → auto-link to matching client record
New ticket created → auto-link to engineering item by Feature ID
Item status hits "Won" → auto-connect to delivery board
Push column values, updates, dates, and names between items that are already linked. Trigger on column change, status change, button click, or a new connection being created. Same-name and same-type column matching keeps things safe.
Common use cases:
Owner changes on CRM board → push to connected client item
Update posted on item → copy to all connected items on other boards
Date offset on parent → adjust connected item dates
The "connect AND keep in sync" combo. One recipe auto-links new items and keeps every matching column synced bidirectionally — change a value on either board and the other updates automatically.
Common use cases:
CRM ↔ Project board: every new deal auto-connects + stays in sync
Master inventory ↔ regional boards: SKUs mirror price/stock both ways
Trigger an action on this board based on something happening on a connected item on another board. Mirror status, move to group, copy updates, adjust dates by offset, rename connected items, remove dependencies.
Common use cases:
Connected item's status flips to Done → move item to group on this board
Update posted on engineering item → copy to all support tickets connected to it
Connected item moves group → delete this board's matching item automatically

Connection and sync automations specifically for items ↔ subitems across boards. Most "item/subitem" recipes work here; this category focuses on the subitem-specific patterns and setup considerations.
Common use cases:
New subitem auto-connects to its parent's master record on another board
Subitem status change → update connected item on another board
Subitem date changes when its status changes — synced across boards
